Just seen this. I hope the injections have kicked in and he is feeling a little better. Poor boy is really having a tough time of it at the moment. Everything crossed here for him and hugs for you... you must be at your wits end with it all x

Thanks everyone.
I am pleased to report the injections seem to have kicked in and I have been able to get him to eat a little and take his Tramadol and antirobe. He is far from right still though and his whole leg looks very red now.
However I now have another problem, through my own stupidity. I have to see my own vet with him on Monday and the only appointment I could get with her was in the morning at 11.30, as we need to arrange to get this amputation done asap before it affects his whole leg (if it hasn't already.) I took it but have just realised I have my car booked in for its MOT at 11am the same morning and I can't put that off as otherwise my car won't have an MOT and I won't be able to get Kyiro to and from the vets.
The next earliest appointment my vet has is on friday as she is fully booked, operates on a Wednesday and is off on Thursdays. I work afternoon and evenings so can't take him then even if she did have an appointment, and its too late by the time the garage opens on monday to put off my MOT even if I could.
I just don't know what to do now. Why is everything so damn complicated.

you may have to drop kyiro into the vets early get mot done then collect him after?? mot normally takes about an hour, would your vet agree to this?

That's what I was going to suggest. My vet here insists on the dog being there for an hour or more before Op time so they can check BP etc. when they are a bit stressed from being caged and so on.
