Dead Tail, Limber Tail, Swimmers Tail, Cold Tail

It can happen when dogs are exposed to water, hot or cold, whether being shampood or whilst swimming.

Christine Zink has a theory that it is due to the dog shaking himself dry.

It spontaneously recovers after a few days in 99.99% of cases.

None of my dogs have ever suffered from it despite being regular swimmers, and I know many exhibitors are very careful not to shampoo some dogs too close to a show for this very reason.

Yeah, I hadn't heard of it till I came on here and asked, I was glad I did cause I was quite worried. Now it's back to it's normal curly whippy state.
