Champion the Wonder Horse's dog, Rebel, was a GSD too!

*believe it or not some of these ancient old TV shows are still put out on TV here in Cyprus. The first English Speaking TV prog I saw on TV when I moved here was some old 1950s episode of Gunsmoke! (They probably had a GSD too lol!)

Yes he was, I think

From my hazy memories of the film, it was a very Disney-like storyline, it was in colour and was set in the USA somewhere.

Probably one of those movies that is shown once and then never again.

I have Champion the Wonder Horse on DVD. They used to show it on a Saturday morning when I was a kid, and I loved it back then. I wasn't so impressed as an adult though, but my son enjoys it

I will now of course not get anything done for ages! Looking for these dog movies I've been reminded how much I love Jack London's Call of the Wild and I happen to have that on a talking book somewhere!

Work Shmmerk!

Haha I know - I must make the kids some lunch and then get out for another walk while the sun is shining, but I am now on the hunt for this film

Thanks for your help - and yours too Murf

I also love Call of the Wild - book and original movie.
