My nana has just started feeding it to her dog, and my dogs will eat it, but as a rule don't get commercial dog food. Try seemed to like it, and it seems an ok food to feed. Not expensive either.

This is the food Paddy was on when he was with his original owner... He didn't eat it, and we think that is why he was so skinny (rather than the guy just not feeding him - I just don't think he bothered to find a food he liked). He is now on Wainwrights and is looking fabulous.

It doesn't look too bad, but it doesn't look too great either IMO.

I think as cheap easily available (i.e. in a supermarket) food goes, it's probably the best of the bunch.

If you like the look of it and think it would suit your dog i would buy a small bag and give it a try!

I got some samples from crufts and mine like it as training treats, not used as a meal though.

Lathams is one of the better supermarket available foods, you can get it in Tesco. 26% meat meal in the lamb one and chrondroitin and glucosamine added. They have two 2kg bags for £9 at the moment.

the lathams sounds good, ill see how she goes on the harringtons first but its only 14% meat iv not normally fed any less than 20% so the lathams or wainwright maybe something for me to think about. thanks for everyones views

Harringtons is very similar to Burns pet food and it is a similar price in my local store. The ingredients are not too bad as far as commercial pet food goes. They are a family company based up in north yorkshire I think. I have tried it with my dogs in the past and they have responded well to it.
