she was rejected by her mother so it was early 5/6 weeks at latest. cant do much until she's actually mine at the weekend, she's also been nipping at my fingers so I'm thinking maybe she's really nervous where she currently is..?

I def think puppy classes are a good start and ask around with friends to see if they know of anyone with dogs she can socialise with straight away. Good luck
That's a shame, hoping that it is just socializing/confidence building that she needs, I'll know much more about her temperament from Sunday so can figure out more then thank you.

It sounds like she is just really unsure and doesn't know what to do. Please don't label her as dog aggressive at her young age. With a little socialisation with some calm well mannered dogs I am sure you can turn her around. My puppy is 10 months and I am still working on her fears surrounding other dogs. I am trying to ensure she has as many positive doggy experiences as possible with dogs that I know and trust temprement wise. With strange dogs if she starts to have a tantrum I just ignore her and carry on. Try not to reassure her while she is behaving nervously, just ignore it and praise her when she shows relaxed body language.

Jade, if you want to pm me your email address I will send you some stuff we have in rescue for socialising and bit inhibition it doesn't sound as if current owner has done any of it, and with a pup removed at that young an age its imperative. If you really struggle then you could always give our behaviourist a try, and/or come along with her to one of our next staffie days
