I've been snooping on this thread for ideas for Hocus, he has a nylabone and isn't very impressed with it! Wasn't the cheapest either.
He has chicken wings but they don't last all that long now!
I find frozen mince/tripe in a cows hoof/Kong keeps him quiet longest!

She's already got one but she isn't interested. Also got a 'puppy teething ring' (can't remember brand but it was from Pets At Home) that is chocolate/vanilla scented but shes not interested in that either.
I bought some tripe sticks but at the moment she just barks at it LOL

Tripe sticks and fish sticks (look at Fish 4 Dogs range of dried fish treats) would be absolutely perfect for a Yorkie pup.

Well she has got over being unsure about the tripe stick and now loves chewing it! Thanks Labradork

I really would advise again a raw-hide chew for a small puppy. Most packets of chews say 4 months onwards. At 4 months I gave my two raw-hide and decided against very quickly having pulled huge splinters out of one their throats.
As a result I did loads of research: safest chew types for a puppy (they should still be supervised) are 'stag bars' which won't splinter and leave no mess etc or a puppy nylabone which as most they will shave off weeny bits of nylon which passes through them. Good luck.
