Phew, we've got people wanting to do it!

I just hope Manyana & I can live up to Emma's amazing organisation from last year! I was just her assistant!!

Was there anything that anyone can think about from last year that they weren't keen on/could've been done better?

Sarah

I can't remember the cut off date & the date that we got our recipient's details, but the earlier the better for me - maybe beginning of December? so it gives us plenty of time to get the gift there on time (ok I'm slightly paranoid about getting it there on time this year )

I can't remember dates either, but I think C&D mentioned it earlier this year, so hopefully we will be on the ball! Just 14 more posts till we can send/recieve pm's on the SS account!!

Hello - Maryann here (Manyana13)

I am glad we have people wanting to do it again this year!

With the postal strikes and the heavy snow last year, many people got their pressies quite late, so would be a good idea to send them earlier just in case I will check out the final posting dates and make sure we are well ahead of them!

Ho ho ho....

I have a question. How exactly does this work?

Well (once we agree on deadlines and spending limits), if you are interested in taking part, you will PM Secret Santa with your address, dog's name and details of anything you would not like your dog to receive eg. treats/toys. When we have details for all interested parties, we will forward your address and details to your seceret santa by PM and they will send you a gift. You will also receive details of the dog you are buying for. It is £5 per dog, so for example if you have 2 dogs who would like to do Secret Santa, then you will get the details of 2 dogs you need to buy for. I hope this makes sense... it's been a long day today!! Also, you are sort of obliged to post very cute pictures of your dog opening their secret santa gift!

Maryann
