Lovely photos of Pereg - wings are a firm breakfast favourite in this house too!

Gorgeous dog, and looks so happy with that breakfast!

Thank you for admiring my mutt - the love of my life, the bane of my life.

To all of you who have seen the photographs I have posted of Pereg, can anyone see any noticeable breed in her background?

I know she is not just a mixed breed, she is a very mixed breed, but sometimes I look at her and think... that reminds me of...?

Especially the first photo on this thread.

What does that head, that face, that expression remind you of?

I wonder if anyone thinks the same as I do.

Now I know why.... She reminds me of our old Molly. Me & my other half got together when she was 7. She lived till she was 21 year old

Manchester Terrier ??

Stupid as it may sound, I can see terrier in there somewhere. Whatever the mix, it has resulted in a beautiful dog.

I have absolutely no idea of her background/ancestry. I did see her dog mom at the shelter, and she was a smaller, thin version of Pereg [who is definitely a couple of kilos overweight but has not got short legs as she looks in those photos!].

But there is something about the shape of her skull and the way she looks at times, and photos 1 and 4 show it - she sometimes sort of remind me of Staffies. Also sometimes the way she stands when she is facing me head on.

Who knows. Her dog mom was a dumped mutt, pregnant by another dumped mutt no doubt, and Staffies are not very common here.

I cannot see any terrier in her though, and her nature is totally unlike any terrier I have ever come across. She is just another black and tan mutt with the softest nature ever.

And I love her very much.

Awwww, how could I have missed these pics of the beautiful little Pereg enjoying breakfast on the sofa You could never accuse this little girl of being spoilt!!! Nah!

I immediately thought of staffie too looking at her face in that first pic especially, but whatever she's made up of, it's all very beautiful
