Yes I suppose so! The only thing is that when i move out, it'll be into rented accomodation and it's hard enough finding a landlord when you have pets without his acid pee destroying their lawn! So I think this could be a handy behaviour to have.

Just let him out. He did a little wee and a poo in the right place (with a prompt), click reward. Then I let him sniff around the grass as I thought he was finished and I don't want him banned from going on the lawn. Turn around and he doing one gigantic wee on the lawn!!! Grrrr! I feel like we're going backwards now...

try not using the cue and when he goes in that area he is rewarded, when he dosnt he is not

you can gradually add the distance from where you are standing so not right next to that area all the time?

could you not get those weird rocks you put in their water bowl, its suppost to stop their wee turning you grass brown/yellow.

I have no idea if they work, only know they exist because i saw them in the pet shop.
Maybe easier than teaching him to wee in a certain area
