Nah - these things might bite you know! Worst so far has been a crying doll, although someone put a very scary waste paper bin in the garden yesterday.

Well done! Bless! Looks like you were very patient today, and he was very brave! I am sure he will get used to new situations with training.

Ps, handsome boy!
He did really well, but we had found a good spot, where he could feel safe and watch.

I decided to brave taking him in a class. Although he is nervous, he does not ave an ounce of aggression in him, but people tend to worry about his size and looks. The judge was great and not trying to interact with him as well. Some people find it really hard - despite what I tell them!

So do I - I try and point as many puppy owners in that direction and tell them to make it a training day rather than about the show. they are a great chance to get around other dogs where everyone is (at least trying) to control their own dogs!

Well done Zeff. Tilly is most impressed that you got placed in your first show. Best crossbreed is her favourite class and she says if she had been there she would have given you a comforting lick on the nose!

Oh Zeff - I feel sorry for him, has he always been scared of people? I mean from a pup?

I'm glad he got placed, he's too gorgeous not to

And everyone's proud of him..

i cant speak from personal experience, but the Saarloos breed half of Zeff is naturally shy, reserved and quite nervous around people, as the wolf looks were bred for, and the characteristics followed.

Tassle - if this is wrong or there is other reasons behind it, please feel free to correct me

- it was really the only class I could take him in, we did not get there at the beginning so missed a few - but still had a couple of nice hours

- I cannot see him ever being overly impressed with the idea - but I would like him to get to the point where it does not bother him, after yesterday I am seeing glimmers of that, maybe a few years on

Part of his make up - I really have to force myself to get him out and about, as at home and in certain situations he is a lovely dog, but then, I do not really live in a 'normal' situation.

Oh! People ask you if he is a wolf? Oh! Lol. Is he big enough to be a wolf? I will have to show my brother a photo, he loves wolves, lol!
