I understand it was a companion completely however parents on here wouldn't feed their kids completely on junk food and keep them locked indoors all the time.
You'd think she would have got help when it got chubby - wonder why the vet (if it had one) didn't say anything

Lordy poor dog. That's where I walk, wonder if I'll ever get to walk her (once she has lost enough weight to be able to stand up that is )

Poor, poor dog. definately cruelty. it's too bad paeople cant be persecuted for extreme over feeding... maybe then people would get the hint. I saw a rottweiler that was 300 lbs... he wasn't quite as bad as this dog, but he was so fat his back legs could barely support him, and he collapsed regularly... poor thing

Yikes, poor dog. The only and often overweight dogs we see are mostly Labradors, *shudders* I hate when the owners think they should be portly and round, they're so offensive to the eye.

Aww poor dog talk about killing something with kindness , I am sure she thought she was just loving the dog but surely there were people around her who could see this happening, wouldn't you have thought they'd have done something! x

How awfully sad. That poor dog. I remember seeing a similar a similar story about a dog who was found frozen to a sidewalk.

She has been on Daybreak and she can barely walk, they had to shave her as she was matted through.. She literally wobbles when she walks Poor girl, I hope they can get her back on track..
