do you have anything useful relating to the pro's and cons of leaving an undescended testicle untreated.
At the moment I'm leaning towards my dog being castrated and an explore for the missing link when we go for first boosters, Around 14 months.
Keep being told , untreated will develop into cancer in later years.

Read it again.

An exception might be bilateral or unilateral cryptorchids, as testicles that are retained in the abdomen are
13.6 times more likely to develop tumors than descended testicles

and it is also more difficult to detect
tumors in undescended testicles by routine physical examination.

Will consult with vet but looks like we will go ahead.
