I'm also a mahoosive lover of the Halti double ended training leads and wouldn't be without them! by far the best leads money can by, in my biased opinion.

Another halti lead fan... I do occasioanlly use a rope slip lead though for the gundogs.

Always have spare lead ropes in my car as my horse like to break his, and they have come in handy for dogs too.

I have several but at present I use a black leather double-ended lead. I attach one end to Dex's headcollar and I clip the other end to one of the rings to form a handle. It's a nice long lead and pretty comfortable as well as being strong. I think it's a Ferplast lead.

I also have a chain lead, with a leather handle. That's my most robust lead and it was really helpful during Dexter's first months with us when I wasn't using a headcollar and his lunging and leaping was virtually impossible to control.

I used an Ezydog lead for a while and loved it - the handle was the most comfortable one I've ever used. But then, within one week, with two separate collars, the lead unfastened while I was walking Dexter in busy areas.

Easy to adjust lengths, comfortable to hold (I wrap them around my hand a couple of times), and they can be linked together to make a longline which is handy! Often I go places where I can let Kiki off but keep Casper on-lead just incase we bump into other dogs and I take a third lead and clip his to Kiki's and the spare lead, and voila, he has more freedom but I haven't had to carry a bulky longline with us. Never had a problem with the clips sticking or unclipping. Plus if they get dirty I chuck them inside a pillowcase/dog bed cover, zip it up and wash in the washing machine.
Yep - here as well - love them

Re the Halti lead - don`t get the small one - it`s too thin for comfort.
