I`d like to ban screaming brats on buses
and old people who run over my feet with mobility scooters
and young mums who swear at their toddlers
and all our local councillors
and women who pick their stoopid little yappy dogs up and glare at my dogs
and families who flatten themselves against the wall, clutching each other when my dogs pass
and cyclists on pavements who think they own it
and...

oh - dogs...

sorry.

How about banning the bad dog owners? We could sent them to Australia like we used to do with criminals,

Before anyone complains, said with tongue in cheek!

I think people should be held more accountable for their dog's actions/controlling their dogs, so I agree with dealing with the deed not breed. As not all dogs of the same breed behave the same. Some of the most affectionate, friendly dogs I have come accross with (and grew up with) are staffies and rotties. In my own experience, I have been bitten by a few Jack Russels and my dog was once pounced on by two aggresive terrier crosses, but it doesn't mean all terriers are the same!

My Spaniel is probably dangerous because she would lick you to death!!

I thought labradors has the highest record for bites on people?
Another deed not breed vote here.
I was made a fool of so often in younger days for making judgements on the way something looked I've worked for years on being broadminded.
"If travel broadens the mind I could pull mine out of my ears and tie it under my chin!"(favourite Terry Pratchett quote)
I'm only concerned about being savaged by a dog if it's loose and charging me jaws agape and murder in its eyes,or the equivalent thereof.

And anyone who stops randomly in the middle of the aisles in Tescos for a chat.

Dogs? Nah... I'm not that fussed on little yappy things but they do make a lot of people happy (particularly little old ladies around here). Woman I was talking to the other day was expecting me to be wary of her German Shepherds because she gets a lot of people making assumptions - she was quite surprised when I admitted I had a huuuuuge soft spot for 'em (familiarity again - I didn't grow up round many dogs but my uncle was a police dog handler so I did encounter his impeccably trained GSDs a lot) and the dog tends to gravitate toward them as well!

I'd like to ban idiot owners who stick their dogs in handbags.
Pink girlie collars becoming the fashion for lady dogs - FFS the toy and clothes aisles for human girls are bad enough - quit with the pink!
And putting poor staffies in more leather and studs than a very... ahem... "specialist" shop might sell (the poor dogs always look almost embarassed to be wearing it).

Oh no not the pink girlie collar ban issue again! Moll the St B has one of those with Swarotski crystal and sterling silver fittings and it WOULD look lovely on her if you could see it but it's hidden under her heavy coat.
(she really does have one! please don't shoot me!)
