Ah Claire, that's so tough. The worst part of dog ownership is their finite presence with us. You'll know when it's time, they have a way of letting us know.

Claire you sent me a lovely message a few days ago when I lost my Lulu.Thank you so much .My other dog as you know has dementia and I dont know if Ill know when the time is right to let him go-its an awful position to be in .I was so sorry to read your post today. The photo is gorgeous ,what a handsome cuddly boy.-Im new to Dogsey-can I ask you if you can bear to tell me what Brans background is? I really feel for you in your pain .All Dogsey members have said how the way Lulu died was the best possible way for it to happen.I hope that when Brans time comes you can have the same experience.Give him a big hug from me,you are both in my thoughts and prayers.Maureen
