Hi, thanks for the reply.

I made reference to our dogs age as this summer was the first time they were allowed out in the garden on their own as last summer we watched what they were doing, if they were digging or eating things they shouldn't. They are still young and as well as training them on the gun we are also trying to teach them right from wrong. The mans dog is 12 years old and for the past 6 years it has barked in the same way and the man has never done a thing about it and obviously doesn't care about his dog or his neighbours. Since apparently receiving a letter from the council he has kept his dog in the house when he has gone out and the neighbourhood has been quiet but its just a shame that he hadn't shown consideration before.

His dogs barking isn't the type of bark you would hear if someone came onto the property etc, no a warning bark, its a consistant pitch and sometime it has gone on for over 3 hours at a time (dog barks for 5 minutes stops for two, barks for five, stops for two etc). Our dog would be able to woof 3 maybe 4 times before we would call him in.
