Sorry to hear she's not well. I would go to the vet too to get her checked out. They can't talk so this is the only way they can show us when they are off colour. My GSP was a bit out of sorts and didn't want to go out for his walk. I got him checked out and that was how we discovered he has a slight back problem, which is now managed and perfectly ok

I'd go back to the vet, Taffy dog (my parents dog) was off colour last week, and is losing fur in handfuls which some would think was just shedding, but my stepmum took him to the vets, he had blood tests and there is something up with his kidneys so he's on medicine now, hoping to avoid an op....

Follow your gut, and even if you'e wrong what is there to lose?

I hope everything is ok xxxxxxx

Just as a quick thought, has she had any kind of fright while she has been eating?

Have you spoken to your neighbours, and asked if they've installed one of those high pitched mouse repellants?

I know someone who has a similar reaction in a dog from the next door installing one

Thanks to everyone for replying.

I shall keep an eye on her for the next 48 hours, and will whip her up the vets on Friday if there's no improvement.

She's also started scratching the carpet - also out of character (just remembered this) so there's another odd thing....... I know this is linked to false pregnancy and also dementia, and, with Mya, both are unlikely......

Hi Mini,

Unfortunately, Mya has such a sensitive tum that the tiniest deviation from her usual food can trigger colitis.....

Poor lamb can't even have a different treat.....

Poor Mya....I hope she's ok soon. My dogs have all been that way at some time, the latest being Danny our lurcher. he was off his food all day and very clingy. It turned out a thunder storm was on it's way!! he sensed it way before. He turned out to be fine but I do agree with the others, get her to a vet if in any doubt. You know your baby and you know when something's wrong. Better to be safe than sorry. Good luck hun x

Hope its nothing serious with Mya Vicki, could she have eaten anything to cause a blockage, her behaviour sounds like it could be related , if she starts drooling badly take her to the vet asap...
