I live in the middle of nowhere and she goes in my yard - we have 2 acres in the middle of about 300 so I don't have to follow her and clean up after her. We aren't even near a paved road

Such an American thing.
Was shocked when I arrived in America that they wanted a poo (or poop in America) just for a check up!!!!

Well, it's actually kind of nice - you don't have to treat for worms unless something happens. Like my dog shouldn't get worms but if she does, they catch it, treat it, cure it. Costs a lot less than being wormed 3 to 4 times a year. At least in my small town it does. And the test is $10 USD (£6.5) - not bad for a year

I only worm once a year so my bill probably comes back even cheaper, but then I don't think we have as many dangerous worms on this side of the Pond?
