Lola does it too - she looks like she is doing yoga. When she wakes up she does downward dog pose (aptly) and stretches her front paws out,neck up and flexes her claws.

my pup chevy suckles and kneads on her favourite little fleece blankie she has she does it every night when we go and watch tv to chill out for the night
