I was thinking inner ear infection myself but this brain scan should give you much more information. Hang in there sometimes the waiting for a test is harder than the test itself.

hope all goes well, not a nice feeling that dizzyness i had it with an ear infection was walking around like i was drunk! my brother also has it but they diagnose him with meneirs(dont think thats spealt right!) he had same symptons
