i just referred to my own experience and knowledge,
but remembered that Bruce Fogle wrote about this topic in his book The Dogs Mind.

I checked it out and he list several reasons for pup elimination, and lists excitement submission (nervousness) separately and doesnt relate them.
Ah...well if Bruce Fogle says it...
I have to say the only pup we have been around that did it was Biffters all those years ago and he was quite a nervy pup (and adult). All the other pups we have been around have not done it, but they have been far more confident from the word go.
