What a lovely boy he does look well cared for so hopefully someone is missing him. Have you contacted local radio stations so they can put out an appeal? (keep something about his appearance or age or something secret though so you can be sure it is the real owner that claims him) Good on you for helping him

Aw bless him, I hope he is claimed by his owners soon.

It's lovely of you to take him in, in the meantime.

I have been having the same horrible thoughts myself. I'm thinking about having him back if that is the case.....don't know how I'm going to tell the OH because we've already got 3.

What a gorgeous dog! I hope he finds his family soon!

Have you taken him to a local vets to see if he's chipped?

Also can you print some posters & put them out where you found him??

The dog warden is picking him up tomorrow, I'll give them a call later to find out what happens. If he's not claimed then I'll do some posters. The place where he joined up with us was busy with walkers and mountain bikers today, but it's not really close to any houses. I'm hoping he was out walking with his family and his "urges" got the better of him. It would be quite a long walk for someone to dump him there.
