I'm sorry to hear of your loss but glad that you are finding comfort on Dogsey.

So many non-dog people just cannot understand our grief on losing a beloved canine companion but we know how you feel.

Hugs to you. As the others have said, it does get better in time, although it doesn't stop us missing them and wishing they were still with us.

Sweet dreams dear Ladybug.

So sorry for your loss of ladybug, your pain will ease in time but the memories will always be there. I have lots of good things to remember when we lost our boy but i think about him every day and its been just a year now since he left us.

Run free at rainbow bridge ladybug x

So very sorry you lost your gorgeous girl. To lose them is so awful but think of the good times and smile. They never really leave us, we just cant see them anymore. Big hugs from me and sloppy terrier kisses from Tilly. xx

I hope this brings some comfort to you. Goodnight Ladybug wait for your mum at Rainbow bridge.

Remember Me

Remember me when roses bloom
And Spring returns again ---
For I am ever present in your midst
In the dawn and in the wind ---

You mustn't think I've gone away
For good - Instead remember me
The way I was in better days
The way it used to be ----

Remember me as I am now
Alive, at peace, and free ---
There is no place for sorrows past
Is just a lost memory ----

For life derives its' purest joy
In living day to day ---
Follow what I've taught you
And REMEMBER ME, this way .....

So sorry to hear of your loss Sara, it's one of the hardest things we have to go through in life when a dog touches our heart like your Ladybug did. x

I lost both my Border Collie boys in October, which was shattering, but I am coming out of it, with the help of a new BC pup. I will not try to make comparisons, because that would not be fair. Anyway, I still miss my first ever dog (another BC) who died before you were born Also in my past are four Cocker Spaniel girls - whilst I still shed a tear for my recent BCs, I can remember all the others with a sad smile: they were my friends, and I will always think of them as such. It will become so for you, though it may not seem like it right now.

Sara, So sorry to hear about your Ladybug, what is most important is that she was loved, and lived a wonderful life with you. Us humans always keep the memories and pictures in our minds, and never forget, in that way your dog will always be with you, and after time you will not feel quite so sad. xx
