Wasn't it Harriot Harman who lost her seat in the elections coz of the claims business though?? I get her confused with the other woman who looks the same lol!

Oh I wouldn't want another woman in charge thankyou very much!!! I want a strong man, somebody the complete opposite of Gordon Brown, somebody like Obama would do me fine!

Gordon is going to play no part in apparently.

Nick Clegg is now going to have serious talks with Labour.

The system is mad isn't it ? The party with the least votes is now calling the shots because the other two parties were just under the amount needed to make a Goverment.

I hope they have all listened to the people this time and realized how disillusioned we are.

Thanks for explaining all that for me Lynne, much appreciated, all is clear now then... ish!

You see I have for's and against's for all of them, and seeing as how Brown wants IN Europe and yet Nick Glegg called them a bunch of nutters how on earth are they gonna get on??

I've got more important things to do now though, like dinner!!!

Very confused as well...

But...it seems that GB (or the Labour party) does not feel that him being there is 'productive' to liblab coalition....

But....this seems to me like it is creating a hell of a lot more instability at a time when really what is needed is a party who is all in the same place - not bickering over who is going to sit at the front.

Nick Cleggs has said numerous times they'd offer a referendum and only push for it if it made sense for Britain.

its not a coalition that is in discussion, a coalition is when two parties merge as one, they are not going to do that, they are negotiating for points scoring,, the ruling party will give the LD, some say in some decisions, and give them some concessions on some of their policies.

And lets hope that does not happen, otherwise we will be totally screwed.

As of now, GB is still PM, and will do so, until an agreement can be made.

What ever happens in this, we will see another election within the next 12/18 mths... what ever the outcome, it will not work.. there will be to much infighting .
