Sending lots of positive vibes that little Sami is going to be ok, he's in the right place, I'm sure everything will be fine once they've dealt with this. Don't blame yourself, you can't watch them all the time thank goodnessd you were so vigilant and saw what he might or has done. He'll be fine I'm sure, try not to worry too much.

Just had an update : They found some foil pieces when the made him sick, but no tabs, although, he did say that that's not to say they/it couldn't have dissolved already. He's on a drip to flush out his system, but the vet his hopeful that he'll be allowed home late tomorrow afternoon/early evening. Fngers crossed that he has a good night and his bloods come back fine again.

Sounds like they have it all under control, try and get some sleep tonight, because you'll be going to pick him up tomorrow by the sounds of it I'm sure. I'll have positive vibes on constant overnight for your little Sami, but I'm sure I won't need to, he's in the right place, they will get him through this and hopefully, it was only the foil he ate anyway and the missing pills were what you took previously, let's hope so anyway.

Everything crossed that it's a bit of a false alarm. Bella ate paracetamol last year (a drunken guest at my son's house left them on the floor next to where they slept along with liquer choklits!) she ate 3 liquers complete with wrappers and from what we could see (in the vomit) one pill. It came up whole with ragged edges along with the choklit wrappers.

As she'd obviously eaten them the night before and it wasn't discovered until next day - was told if she was going to be v. ill it would have happened by now so she didn't go to the vet. But it could only have been another one tab max but then she is a tiny little dog.

Hope that's the case with yours - that any they did eat have come straight up again.
