lol-And still hasnt properly cleared up Helen!

Am now dabbing surgical spirit on the inflamed skin 3 times a day which seems to be making the skin turn a more normal browny/grey colour-instead of red.

Ouch Steve! Won't that sting poor Abe a bit? What about that purple spray (we used to use it on our horses feet and leg wounds as it clears infections but dries them up too, or maybe iodine from the chemist?) Mind you, you must be a dab hand with paw problems by now, so you know best, just offering some alternatives here. Hope Abe gets better soon with it anyway
