Advantage here, as the pups are too small for frontline, and Johnsons 4fleas tabs!

Frontline is not a wormer.

I use Advocate now. I used Frontline for years but the fleas became immune to it because it didn't work at all. My vets don't even stock Frontline anymore.

Advocate is, I believe, the only spot on that covers lungworm in addition to all the others.

No but there are treatments that do worms as well (for example, Advocate).

Is Advocate effective against ticks? [I use Drontal Plus as a wormer]

when using 'chemicals' imo u shouldnt be guided by price alone.

also when it comes to fleas remember they live in the environment and u have to treat all the animals in the household.

im sticking with advocate and when i cant get that i use stronghold.

eta..i thought frontline was effective for fleas in dogs for 8 weeks

Yes it is effective for 8 weeks against fleas and then will need a re-treat. For ticks the protection lasts a month.

No, it covers virtually everything but ticks (and tapeworm).

Just switched from Heartgard and Frontline to Revolution (Pfizer). It is for both, as well as ticks and other insects. It saves money since now you have only one product to buy.
