the health of it is far more important!

once, years ago, I owned an "Old" GSD, what means, a long coated race of them, which not once is accepted of the FCI and he had a straight back, was healthy! never did suffer from HD!

maybe you missed that

yes you are allowed an opinion. but this thread was to celebrate the winner of crufts. if you want to post a thread in the general chat about how you dont agree with crufts then do it.

sorry, but that's just how I'm thinking about!

as not the "allegedly beauty" is important, the health of our beloved dogs should stand in the foreground!
and what breed of dog do you have?? is it a maltese x peke ??

I posted earlier I had only been to cruft once and never again I saw many many lovely people and dogs they obviously loved and cared for, dogs that enjoyed the whole thing. I also (and this is what put me off) saw dogs tied to benches while the owners were off looking round the show, dogs looking distressed on benches alone or being walked around the show being stood on as it was so crowded. I saw dogs wee themselves on their benches because the facilities and people who should have been with them were too far away.

I saw much good and some down right cruelty, it wasn't the entire show that needed stopping just the practices that people like x-clo-x would never dream of inflicting on her dogs.

We shouldn't as the saying goes throw the baby out with the bath water here, we should be looking at what we can do to make it better.
