well this morning this lump came up again , its below left eye area about 1 inch below eye , eye has been running a bit over last few days too , pawing at face last night so this time even if it goes down i will be getting her to see the vet . will let you know how it goes

Becky that sounds very plausible. My neice had this problem and had swelling and discharge whenever it blocked. Good luck today Rose.

She has an appointment tomorrow am , will keep you informed , will also go on internet & look up the blocked tearduct as it could [possibly be this , thank you all for your help

I agree ithis sounds like a tear duct problem , if it was a sliva gland (mucocele / sialocele) it would be lower down on the cheek.

she dosen't have any green discharge as i have read , only a runny eye on/ off . lump still there at 1.30pm

I have blocked tear ducts and only have a runny eye never any discharge. If the duct is blocked then the tears can't drain away so they spill out of the eye!

thanx mahooli , she has had a running eye for a while now . previously , last year she had 2 eye ulcers too , not sure which eye it was on though .
