Too be honest I have given up now, just too much hassel, I recently passed all the criteria for a pup from a rescue, all was well, homecheck went fab then boom, vet check, they found I had Buster who was pts last year for attacking my children, and the rscue was not even interested in hearing the story how all the rescues I rang at the time would not/could not take him, how after attacking the kids and myself we could not keep him in the house etc, she just said sorry no way will we rehome to you and put the phone down on me!!

I was heartbroken, not only for having all the crap brought up form last year which reminded me exactly why I was not ever doing a private rehome again and why I wnt to a rescue in the first place, but also because that lovely puppy had to lose out on a wonderful home.

As I say, I give up, the only way it will happen is to actually buy a puppy which is a shame
