It's not just you - I feel like that about Butchers tinned food - Whisper loves it and it doesn't seem to do her any harm poo-wise etc. But I don't feel entirely 'comfortable' with it either!

She's now Raw fed but still manages to get some Butchers mixed in with her raw sometimes or as a top-up feed (like today where she only ate 1/2 her raw portion yesterday so had the other half plus half a tin of Butchers today). I do have some Natures Harvest but she won't eat that without Butchers on it! She's a Butchers Gravy junky lol! I swear there's something addictive in it!

I feed Chappie!
At the start I was like you, worried that he shouldn't be on it as it is "cheap", but it is the only food we have tried that he loves, has good poos with, and doesn't have any tummy issues with!

Mine is in a clear plastic box, but that is for my storage rather than to hide the label

I feed raw, and if I'm a food snob then so be it! It is the cheapest way to feed a dog, as well as - IMO - the best!

We feed ours raw, but always have a sack of chappie to hand as well.

Yes - I know - the tripe ones are pretty good.

Unfortunately; Whisper only likes the chunks in gravy varieties which aren't as good...... but never mind.

The ONLY tinned food I would ever consider giving my dog is Chappie. It's really good.

The last dog thrived on the dried Chappie but, it does not suit my current dog.

I feed mostly raw but, keep tinned Chappie in just in case I run out.
