I miss it heaps, but hopefully next year we will sell up and move back, I have only been away 3 years and when I go back its like nothing changes the same old people are standing around gabbing and everybody knows everything, its very different to where I am at the moment. Very warm community I have always been brought up in small places, Lochgilphead has a population of 2,000 and when I lived on Islay the whole Island had only about the same lol.
Where i am now there is 80,000 approx, so there is a huge difference, its nice going back and having more freedom to walk the dogs everywhere and anywhere it can be busy but yet your only a few minutes from the woods or the beach...
