Muffin is a rescued rescued rescue! She was adopted by a family who decided they no longer could own her so rather than say to the resue shelter they asked a friend of theres to look after her for a while, then never came back for her. The family left with her were then going take her to rescue when they asked me If I would look after her. Very round about but thats 4 years 2 weeks ago Ive owned her Ive informed rescue centres what happened but cant find any with any records of her. Apparantly was in at least another two homes before that. She has been in so many homes they didnt know how old she was (I was told 7, turned out actually 14 at the time!)

My other dog Totts was being treated poorly at a farm, being attacked by the other dogs on it, not fed proper diet etc. so I got her myself.

May I ask why you chose a breeder on some occasions please ? Was it because you couldn't find a breed from within a rescue?

Because I work in the sector, I'm very interested to find out why people make their decisions!

3 of my 5 dogs are private rehomes 2 came with aggression issues, the other 2 came as very well bred pups.
My 2 cats came as kittens.
My 2 cockatiels are rehomes.
One African grey parrot came from a breeder and the other is a rehome.
All loved and treated equally and I would have both pups and rehomes in the future too, I don't think it's an either or situation.
