gorgeous pictures, we are going to Dartmoor later this year and the boys want to see if we can find the ponies. My youngest did ask if he could ride them lol I had to try and explain the difference between a wild pony and a not so wild pony....not easy at 5

melsgems- There is a Miniature Pony Centre near to Moretonhampstead in Dartmoor- highly recommend you go there with your sons! Haven't the honour/blessing of being a mum or am likely to now as now 37 years old- so unless a miracle happens will be without any precious bundles, yet, am a mum to a special dog plus have lots of neices and two nephews so am very blessed all the same. There is a wonderful Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth in Devon- free to enter, too! If you need any tips for places to go to in Devon or Dartmoor happy to assist you!
Hope the weather will be kind to you, too! Dartmoor is one of my favourite places on the earth even if it is just a short drive away still really appreciate it!

Massive gentle hugs, Clarita

that would be great we have our Caravan sited in Devon now so we will be there often (hopefully). We are struggling to find a nice sandy beach that allows dogs if you know of any? we are near Totnes but more than happy to drive out.

Have been to The Donkey Sanctuary and have to say, they are very dog friendly! We went in with 5 dogs and they didnt mind at all. The dogs all said hello to all the donkeys who were quite happy to do so. They also have some lovely walks around the donkey paddocks, again dog friendly. A beautiful place and a great day out for donkey and dog lovers!

Slapton Sands/Torcross is a great beach to take your dogs even though it is not sandy , too! Slapton Sands is also an AONB. Babbacombe is a sandy beach to the North of Torquay. Hope Cove near Salcombe is great for dogs as well as children.
Dogs are allowed on the steam trains, too. There is a train station at Totnes.
Hope this helps.

Hugs, Clarita
