I have Collies.
Supposedly highly intelligent Collies.
When my Defa is in a Companion Show ring, as soon as the judge is almost ready for him, he throws himself down and wriggles in play, while trying to get as much grass stain on his pure white long coat as possible while obviously hoping for as much soil and `bits` to cling to him as he can muster ready to proudly present his grinning self to aforementioned judge.

You have Staffies.
Not supposedly as alledgedly intelligent as Collies.

Yours are getting it beautifully and looking lovely too.
