That story is so sad.....he was a lovely boy......a friend has a rottie(never was much interested in them before) but Maddie is a real star, such a good ambassador for her breed, and since knowing her I have fell in love with the breed...........

What a beautiful story Steve, and its so nice to see pictures of Abe again, I remember him from the Pets board and of course when you first joined here. I think all of us feel like we knew him, although we never met him, because of your stories and pictures he is in our memories.

Vegas is a cracker as well, you two were meant to find each other though and hes a very lucky dog. Hard work he may be but that has its own rewards.

Ohhhh, that was a lovely page Steve - I really enjoyed reading all that and especially seeing dear Abe again, such a handsome lad he was and I don't mind admitting it has brought yet another tear to my eye.

Anyway, you now have your new pal Vegas who is also a truly handsome lad with a character to match, and he certainly keeps me entertained on here reading about his latest antics, or seeing the pics of what he has or is about to destroy. That dog is soooo funny Steve, and you were meant to have him in your life, I think Abe arranged that one! Btw, does he still take up all the bed!?

Looked at this earlier Steve, at work, but filled up so couldn't type a reply. The 'Pets' people knew Abe for quite a while and he was always a character, nice to think that he touched so many peoples lives even though we never met him in the flesh.

I am sure that Vegas will have a similar effect
