NOTE: If you have a non-T&L capable video card, such as Intel Extreme Graphics or Radeon VE series, then you need at least a 2.0 GHz processor.
To up grade your graphics card is easy.
Do you know what type of graphics card you got at the moment?
It will be one of these ones onboard graphics (incorperated into the motherboard) and not very good only usefull for the most basic stuff.
PCI Better than onboard graphics will play most of the older games with no trouble most multi media pc's have pci graphic cards in them.
AGP This is alot better than the other 2 if your mothewrboard supports AGP
Then theres PCI EXPRESS this is the lateset standard for graphics not to be confused with PCI they are differant again your motherboard will have to support PCI EXPRESS for you to install this type of card.
At the most i would of thought that your motherboard supports AGP.
When upgradeing your graphics card you'll have to uninstall/remove/disable the old one before installing the new one.
If you want a full tutorial on how to do this i will do you one with as many pics as possible in word or PDF the choise is yours.
If your pc has onboard graphics then you'll have to go into your pc BIOS to disable the onboard graphics card if you don't do this then the pc will proberly not pick up your new graphics card but it will be still sending to the old one and no the new one and you'll get system conflicts and proberly a system crash to go with it if it boots with 2 active cards inside.
