my post office lost my nephew's birthday card

When i'm sending out anything that i've sold on ebay now, I always use recorded delivery or special delivery, Recorded add's an extra 75p onto the price of postage, but then you have less people trying to claim non receipt if they have to sign for the parcel in the first place
On ebay if the parcel does not get to the buyer then it is the seller's responsibility to refund and claim from the post office and not the buyer.
