Jackie, what are the rings for? Presumably some kind of ID, but is there a central database or something, like for microchips? And do you put them on or does the vet?

CLMG they are growing really strong now, they can hold their heads much more and you are welcome to come for a cuddle any day

duboing we order the rings from the Parrot society and they keep a database of who the rings are sold too, so the birds can be traced back to us should their be need for it, we also have them microchipped so they have double identification, and yes we put the rings on around 14 days of age when there little toes are still very supple enough to get the rings over.
Yes i have really got my work cut out this year with three
but i think it will be so much fun when they are all running around learning to fly, i cannot wait
