I've managed to get through the first 6 pages of this thread before I gave up reading.
I'm all for hunting as most of you already know. I come from a hunting background so I guess it's 'in my blood'.
The hunting ban has had a dire affect here with the result of foxes multiplying by the shed load. They have caused havoc with poultry farmers and the increased risk of disease is always a worry. Those cute fluffy foxes that you all seem to fall in love with are nothing more that scavengers that show no mercy and also spread disease that can be passed onto dogs.
I work my dogs in our field for rabbits. As we're inundated with the bloody things, the dogs do a good job of irradicating them (or at least trying to)
The sooner this stupid ban is lifted, the better it will be for rural area's.
