Sorry I missed all this too, I'm so glad to see that she is back home and on the mend....and just look at all those stitches, she's a little fighter isn't she. Good girl Breagh.

Karen's ill so Breagh has not needed to be left alone today. Apart from doing a wee on the bed when Karen was in it - Breagh's had a good day and seems to be getting better. When I came home tonight she looked even less podgy which is a good sign and she's still just as happy.

I'd just like to say thanks to everybody for their well wishes and advice. I'm amazed at the amount of replies there's been and I just hope that everybody that's flicked through 175 posts will at least be a bit more aware of the seriousness and the suddeness of bloat / GDV should they ever have to experience it with their own dogs.

Breagh has surprised us all at her strength and speedy recovery and (fingers crossed) she will continue to improve over the coming days and weeks.

Hopefully this thread will drop off the list now LOL

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil , sorry I missed this thread . ( I work nights and only had a quick look over the last couple of days). What an awful thing to happen to little Breagh . Thank god you had your wits about you and got her to the vet quickly . She's looking well in your photos. Missy and I would like to wish her a speedy recovery , (and to Karen too !).

Hello Phil Delighted to hear Breagh is doing well and losing the bloat. It was an awful fright you and yours had but you acted so quickly, which proved such a great result. I am looking forward to seeing more pics of Breagh when you have them

Hugs to Breagh from Loki - and me too
