hi did not know if you had read , but in dog world they said that the paper that wrote that horibale write up about staffys had to be retracted and they had to put in some good things about the breed. i also am fed up of hearing bad things about this breed

I am so sick of people saying that staffies are dangerous and horrible dogs, Once you get to know a stafford they get in to your heart!! For me these are the best dogs in world. They dont have the nickname Nanny dog for no reason!!! Stupid and thick people feel they have the right to slag a breed off without knowing anything about the breed. Working as a kennel maid i have never got bit by a so called dangerous dog. I have been bitten by a Yorkie terrier, border collies and a black lab!!!

Unfortunately it's a fact of life..staffies will always be looked on as vicious by some people.Persoanally I think it's just ignorance on their part.Some people you can convert..My youngest Tara has changed minds about the breed since she started going to training classes,everyone loves her..

i havent read the article but i know were your'e coming from. i was born into a family of staffy lovers,owners and show exhibitors and for as long as i can remember the have always been slated and it really gets my friggin back up.

The sad fact is, and I am getting riled cause I have had "a few" is that no matter were you live and no matter when there will always be those small minded enough to judge before they understand. The best you can ever do is let your dogs speal volmes and hope that person goes away thinkingh "I got it wrong, I met the nicest dog and it was a Staff" we coud all sit till we were belue in the face and talk about the owners who are scum etc but we all know they are there the best we can do is let our dogs speak for themselves.
