3 Dobermanns.. Luther, Destiny and Campary.

I have
Gemma- Black lab 10 yrs old (Baildonian gun dog loved to go on shoots brilliant working dog except she doesnt like dead things in her mouth and her eyesight is rubbish! which was great for me as the previous owner gave her to me, instant retirement-shes never looked back)
Yogi- Black Lab Gemmas son 5 yrs old (amazing dog gentle calm clever beautiful)
Mr Frost- Collie type mongrel white with one black eye 12 yrs old (sweetest boy ever known as uncle frosty at home. Loves all babies be animal or human.)

We have Joey (rottie x) approximately 2 years old and Chaos (Northern Inuit) who is 2 years and 3 months.

Pascha - 11month old BSD tervueren
Bailey - 17month old Rotti X GSD

One Norwegian Elkhound, Cuillin who is three years old. Got him yesterday.

1 dogue de bordeaux and 1 stafford, both bitchs

Soon to be 3 doglets once I've decided on which breed

Herbie is 3 years old and a Norfolk/ JRT he is such good company and a good way of getting exercise and a much loved and important part of our family

Would love to hear how you & your "new" elkhound are doing.
I grew up with an elkhound beeing my best companion in childhood as my parents always had one. My father never used his dogs for hunting though - they were just "farm"-dogs - expected to give a "warning" when people came to visit, and to keep unwanted visitors (like fox & lynx) at bay.
I really have such great memories of these dogs, and they still have a huge place in my heart
