I'd be intrigued to know how many folk who believe in being given the right to smoke and the freedome to choose to smoke think that hunting should be banned? After all, both cause death and loss of life at some point - and both infringe on others who may not choose to participate....?

lol at chloe. i dont think hunting should be banned but cant liken it to smoking as i dont pin down non smokers and rip their lungs out well not unless they really annoyed me anyway. i dont smoke in front of my kids or with my non smoking friends. i just smoke in pubs and clubs where most people are smoking anyway

But Katy - how would you feel if someone told you (and I am speaking hypothetically here) that despite smoking not damaging other folk (ie the Burns enquiry on hunting saying it a far less cruel method of fox control than anything else) you were no longer allowed to smoke. Anywhere. ever again. Because Labour MP's don't understand the enjoyment, addiction, or need?

If all of the taxes from cigarettes were put into the NHS, it would be an outstanding service and well funded. Our hypocrtical Government/s don't want us smokers to give up....too much lost revenue

I do however believe non-smokers should not have to breath in my smoke, or i may have to charge them Well they are almost £5 a packet......

And another thing....

How come when I go out for a smoke at work, the people who say 'oh, I'll have a walk over with you' are non-smokers. I think it's a cheek. Not buying any then inhaling mine. I charge 20p. 25 if they stand really close or breath a lot.
