I have loads of fond memories of us going to a community bonfire in Alness, with fireworks as well, it was small but very popular.

For some reason we don't have one in Alness any more, I guess it's cause Invergordon have such a big display now. Which is a shame.

Still looking forward to the display tomorrow, wrapping up warm though, it's looking blooming cold out there.

Ah well, needing a bucket under my nose it's running so much. Going to go to bed and get some kip now. Must find a decent fiction book to lose myself in, reading history books all the time is a bit dry.

I have a snoring dog who has decided its okay to risk crossing the room for a drink of water....and gone back to sleep and she is right it is still not "safe" enough to go out for a wee........without being back to step 1 again. Another hour or so and we should be okay, If either of us are awake then.

Just woke up on the daybed where me and Bella hunkered down. Happy to say she was fine. Telly up loud and buried under heaps of blankets. She didn't get out for her late wee, but I'm not waking her now.

So happy that she was OK. I expect we will have more tomorrow. But am not dreading it now. Chuffed that she wanted to stay with me rather than hide in the bedrooms.

I read every post but am going back to sleep. Nite all.
