Thanks again for the messages everyone.
Teagan had her stitches out on Tuesday, and i've been waiting for a phonecall from my vets with the results from the second lab.
Vet phoned a short while ago, and she has spoken to 2 pathologists at 2 labs, and also the oncologist at Liverpool Animal Hospital.
The conclusion is they still aren't 100% what type of T-Cell Lymphoma it is, but they are pretty sure it's a low grade one.
There are 3 options....
1) Chemotherapy
2) Start steroids now
3) Watch and Wait for now, and start steroids (prednislone) when Teagan beings to deteriorate.
I have chosen option 3.
This type of cancer doesn't normally respond very well, if at all to chemo - and the vet said it's an agressive chemo, and would probably make her ill - and I know what thats like, and don't want to put her through it, especially since she can't understand, and she's doing well in herself at the moment.
I don't want to start steroids now, as they come with their own side effects.
The oncologist recommends 'watch and wait', and it is the route I would have gone down without his say anyway, so thats what I've gone with.
So I've just to keep a close eye on Teagans lymph nodes, and obviously how she is in herself, and take her back to the vets if I notice anything wrong etc.
So for now, she's just being spoilt
