Hi Mary, I moved your post here as only entries are allowed on the class threads

The crossbreed class is for all dogs with two or more breeds in the parentage, [ except Lurchers and Longdogs whch have a specific class as they are a centuries old `type` ], crossbreed just being the easiest class name for non-purebreds

I did forget to put Bitza as a descriptive option in the info requirements for when sending entries to the collator so I`m glad you queried it, thank you

There will also be a, [ non-show posed ], class for the most unusual mix, again consisting of two or more breeds in the parentage

Fab! Lining up pics as we type.
Thanks for moving it, I thought you may have done, and fair enough (still learning my way around bits of Dogsey I use less frequently)
Mary

Don`t worry, the Show ground is huge, even I get lost some times

If it helps, every time there is a new class open or voting opening for the Dash classes, I post on a thread in the main Dog chat section in which click-able direct links to classes are given, and I do bulk updates on it as well, so that thread will usually show up for you on a regular basis

This is the thread title to keep an eye out for

2008 Show - Class announcements here

Its great that newer members are getting into the spirit of the Virtual Show, I hope you enjoy the classes

When doing the class preparation the Show Sec neglected to put a limit of one dog per owner per class, so more than one clip of the same dogs can be entered in each category

[ will ask for this to be moved to the Show FAQ thread as we are sooo off topic lol ]

i think she meant there isnt a limit of one video per dog so you could enter multiple videos of the same dog rather than one shorter version x

Kicks is correct

If an owner has, say, a five minute vid of any of their dogs doing some Agility training, [ for instance ], perhaps working on a couple of different exercises or courses throughout the clip, they can split the vid into smaller clips so that each section of footage would be within the time allowed, and can enter each of the smaller clips in the one class for that dog, and can do so for each dog owned.

So, using your recently posted vid as an example, where you are demonstrating different individual elements of Obedience, you can split that 7 minute vid into separate clips, one for each element being demonstrated, then can enter them all in the Obedience class
