I am very sorry for your loss of Polly.

Huge thanks to all the kind messages, Polly is here at the house in a spare room until tomorrow when she will be buried in the woods on my own land, where I hope to move to when the house is built. The vets here have no means to deal with the practical aspects but luckily my builder stepped in. She will be buried in her favourite blanket with one of her "Best Veteran" rosettes and a brief ceremony.
I brought the boys back from the kennels and let them sniff her, they weren't too interested so I guess they realise what has happened and won't pine for her.
I will though......
