Oh Bev, you must be over the moon, along with Kyiro, now that he can go out into the garden with a naked foot, bless his heart, he has been a real trojan through all of this, all that pain he must have gone through and all the trauma you went through, and now this is the end, I'm sure he will learn to walk as you want him to and not do more damage to that dislocate toe.

WOW, this is the best news you've had for many weeks!!!

He has been immensly brave and so good over the past 3 months or so and just taken everything done to him. He is a special boy.

You might find that as the pads return to normal, the pain goes. I know when I broke my ankle, after 7 weeks in plaster, the horrible dry skin that had built up was painful until it came off. The same may be happening with your boy.

Way to go big lad, onwards and upwards xx
Hadn't thought of that, fingers crossed, hopefully dry skin is all thats standing between him and full health.

I can't tell you the relief I felt walking out of that vets with him this morning, mind you I bet he was even more relieved than me He is such a stoic boy and I am so proud of him.

That is fantastic news Bev.

Out in the garden with no sock and no limping. I think you should crack open the champagne.
