Great news Phil. It's my radial nerve that I have the problems with at the moment too however mine just causes pins and needles down my arm into my hand. Glad to hear there's so much improvement with yours.

Hard to explain but if you can imagine standing 20 feet from somebody and pointing at their face with an outstretched arm......Instead of pointing at my own feet (as I was) I can now point at their waist.

It isn't 'straight' yet (pointing at the person's face) but the nerves are at least able to get the muscles to work which is a great leap !

There was no guarantee it would ever 'mend' so I'm on a massive high as it came from nowhere.
Really, really good news mate. Long my these little improvements continue xx

Great news Phil, Rach was telling me all about it when we met up and I'll say now as I said then that it must have been so scary for you and Karen. Glad its improving and hope it continues.

Cheers folks.

With any luck the Occupational Therapy woman will now be able to pass me onto physio therapy.

There's been no point in physio till now as the nerve simply wasn't carrying the message to the muscles to move the wrist.

From what they've said physio should help build up the muscles which (even in this short time) have wasted.

Should hopefully know more after my appointment tomorrow.
